This service is separate from buying boosters or displays on Unmapped. Your case stays your property from start to finish: we only inspect and certify it.
Why it matters
On the open market, a sealed case that's already changed hands could have been opened and re-sealed without anyone knowing: the best cards pulled, the rest sold as new. Our expertise checks, booster by booster or display by display, that no sign of tampering is detectable before we certify it.
Sealed cases only
We only accept factory-sealed cases, never individual displays or boosters brought in separately. It's the only way to guarantee we're observing the product from its original sealed state: an item already separated from its case could have been opened and re-sealed by someone else before we receive it, and we could then only certify its condition on arrival, not the absence of prior sorting.
What we actually guarantee
We call this a seal authenticity expertise, not an absolute guarantee over everything that may have happened before we received your case. We check the weight against a factory-sealed reference, the condition of the plastic film (double-sealing, print misalignment, irregular glue), and the manufacturer's security features. The entire inspection is photographed and timestamped. We certify what we observe when we receive and open your case, not the chain of custody before that.
